Areola 3D tattoos are a specialized form of tattooing designed to recreate the appearance of a natural areola and nipple complex on individuals who have undergone mastectomy surgery. Heather Polak uses a 3 dimensional tattooing technique to provide an exceptional looking areola and nipple with the look of texture, depth and realism.  The pigments are colour matched to each patient and the goal is to restore the breast's natural appearance.  It also detracts from any scarring and leads the eye to a new focal point rather than just the scars on the breast.

Here are some key points about areola 3D tattoos:

1. Consultation: Before getting an areola 3D tattoo, individuals will have a consultation with the Heather, where all aspects of the procedure will be discussed.  She will also do an examination to determine if you are ready for the procedure. All questions or concerns will be addressed. 
2. Procedure: The process involves using specialized techniques and pigments to create the illusion of a three-dimensional nipple and areola. Heather will use shading, highlighting, and color blending to achieve a natural look that matches your skin tone and desired appearance.
3. Post Care and Follow Up: During the healing process (2-3 weeks) it will be necessary to avoid submerging the breasts in water, so please avoid long hot, steamy, baths/showers and swimming.  A follow up application will be performed approximately 3 month later.
